Kenny Vermilion, MEd, serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator for Heartland Whole Health Institute.
Prior to joining the Institute, Vermilion worked in a number of roles across higher education, including at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Here, Vermilion found an interest in health and wellness, and she developed the college’s first wellness curriculum addressing medical student burnout.
Vermilion is a Fayetteville native and received a Bachelor of Arts in advertising from the University of Oklahoma, as well as a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education. Vermilion likes to be outside as much as possible, hiking and exploring the state and country with her two pups in tow.
