Rhianon DeLeeuw currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Strategy and Innovation for Walmart. Within this role, she is responsible for further expanding Walmart’s enterprise strategy in order to ensure that the company maintains a balanced mix of businesses across its portfolio. This expansion is made possible through strategic partnerships and investments.
One of Rhianon's primary responsibilities is leading the company’s enterprise data strategy – identifying the most significant opportunities for data value creation, with a special emphasis on the application of GenAI.
Rhianon joined Walmart in 2011 and has held several leadership roles and has guided various areas within the Finance function supporting key areas of the business from Health & Wellness to Operations. Prior to her current role, Rhianon served as the Senior Vice President of U.S. Financial Planning & Analysis and Strategy. She also spent two years as the finance lead for Walmart’s finance growth strategy for Walmart+ and Walmart Connect. During this time, she managed the Revenue, Marketing, and Customer Finance team.
Rhianon is an executive sponsor for Walmart’s initiative, Women in Finance – a group that aims to foster connection, promote professional development and provide philanthropic opportunities across all company sectors.
Before joining Walmart, Rhianon worked in public diplomacy and international development at the Meridian International Center in Washington, DC. She holds an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from Williams College.
In addition to her responsibilities at Walmart, Rhianon serves on the Board of Directors for the New Leaders Council. This national organization is committed to developing, connecting, and uplifting diverse leaders across various sectors.
