Sophia Fox serves as the Industry Research Analyst at Heartland Whole Health Institute. Before joining the Institute, Fox spent a year and a half backpacking solo around the world. Highlights from this immersive global learning experience include learning Spanish, visiting indigenous communities, and hiking through Patagonia. Fox received a magna cum laude Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Entrepreneurship from UCLA in 2022. During her time at UCLA, Fox worked as the Vice President of Community Health for Hillel at UCLA, designing and building extensive community health programs for students in need. She also worked as a consultant for the UCLA Social Enterprise Academy, helping build diversified revenue streams for local nonprofits. Prior to these roles she worked as a Wellness Intern for Exact Sciences in Madison, Wis., and as a Neurology Research Intern for Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston, Mass. Fox is passionate about health equity and hopes to eventually pursue a Masters in Public Health.
